My dear friend, welcome on board. This fast is about abstaining from doing the thing (s) God has put on your heart for 40 days. Some people are not going to watch TV, some people are shutting down their What’s App, some people are not eating a particular food item as we pray every single day seeking God’s face.

Organize time to pray in the morning and in the evening and make each prayer session at least 45 mins long. It is a time of sacrifice, let’s aim to spend much more time with God than we usually do. Let the Holy Spirit push you, it will not be in vain. If you can spend 1 hour to pray and worship in the morning, 1 hour in the evening or at night that will be awesome.

Time to appropriate God’s Word. 2018 is a Year of Victories!

Today’s Word:

The message of God today is that nothing is too great for him.

If we begin to open our mouths and sing his praises like in 2 Chronicles 20:22, God will set ambushes against the enemy as we learn in that passage!

Thus says the Lord to you this day: “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s” 2 Chronicles 20:15.

It doesn’t matter how many they are, they are not too many for God, they fear him, they hide from him, they flee before the Lord of hosts.

“Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!” 2 Chronicles 20:17

We have positioned ourselves, we are fasting, we are singing our Father’s praises, we are praying.

“Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper” 2 Chronicles 20:20.

God has spoken and he will do what he says. We are going to see God’s victory and salvation. I already have some testimonies and by the end of the fast I believe there will be many more and everyone of us will speak of what the Lord has done!

Every spiritual enemy that wants to see you fail will see you succeed beyond measure in the name of Jesus.

God is going to bless you beyond measure. Put the music on, sing to the Lord, pray and believe him.

God is with you. The enemy is going to be put to shame.

Lord I thank you for your word in 2 Chronicles 20. My faith is in you alone, in Jesus name I pray to you, amen.

Read 2 Chronicles 20:6-12. Use it to speak to God.

Songs to sing to God:

Please do discover those songs if you don’t know them yet, singing them will highly bless your life.

God bless you!
