Guidelines:

My dear friend, welcome on board. This fast is about abstaining from doing the thing (s) God has put on your heart for 40 days. Some people are not going to watch TV, some people are shutting down their What’s App, some people are not eating a particular food item as we pray every single day seeking God’s face.

Organize time to pray in the morning and in the evening and make each prayer session at least 45 mins long. It is a time of sacrifice, let’s aim to spend much more time with God than we usually do. Let the Holy Spirit push you, it will not be in vain. If you can spend 1 hour to pray and worship in the morning, 1 hour in the evening or at night that will be awesome.

Time to appropriate God’s Word. 2018 is a Year of Victories!

Today’s Word:

I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live” Psalm 116:1-2.

As long as I live I will call upon him. Power-packed statement!

There is no where else to go, there is only God.

“I was brought low, and he saved me” Psalm 116:6. And this word my friend is for you today.

The devil knows he has no claim on you, we simply belong to another. We belong to our creator. That is why God has issued a call for us to be reconciled and return to him through Jesus.

The devil cannot keep you if you choose to come back to God through Jesus. You are not his property!

Jesus’ power is something that Satan cannot and will never be able to break or overpower. God has highly exalted Jesus and given him a name which is above every name including these names: Satan, Lucifer, The devil, Demon whoever (Philippians 2:9)…

The name of Jesus is above all these names to the extent that at his name every knee should bow and confess that he is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11)! That is our Victory-packed statement.

Jesus’ power is something we can count on right now. Jesus’ power saves. It is real. It is God’s doing.

“For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power” 1 Corinthians 4:20.

The kingdom of God is not about empty talks. It is about God’s power (which is the same power Jesus carries) demonstrated in works of power.

He is a God of power and you have come to the right place.

Whatever the devil is doing, God remains the answer to stop him and cast him out.

We have the devil’s power against God’s power. The devil’s power would probably have the size of a peanut if put next to God’s power which is immeasurable! Can we measure God’s power? No, his power is limitless!

So what can the peanut size power of the devil do against God’s power when he comes in? The answer is nothing.

Wherever you stand now, God will save you and bring a victory as you continue to fast, pray and sing his praises.

As long as I live I will call upon him. I will not grow tired of doing it. My God is the undeniable source of Freedom & Life.

Prayer:

Lord may your Kingdom which consists in power come in my life today. I proclaim that Jesus’ blood makes me your property, to you alone I belong through the blood. Let your power make me victorious in Jesus name I pray, amen.

Tell God you love him (it is the first commandment Matthew 22:37-38) and put the music on to praise him with that love in your heart.

Songs to sing to God:

Please do discover those songs if you don’t know them yet, singing them will highly bless your life.

God bless you!
